There is an article out on Washtimes.com detailing the events surrounding the car bombings and attacks of five churches in Baghdad and Mosul. It appears these bombs were all set to go off at the same time, a time which coincided with the church services of each of these churches. Well I found this page which details an argument that Disney ripped off the Lion King from a lesser known Tezuka Productions' Jungle Emperor Leo. Apparently the main character in the Tezuka production from the 1950s-60s was named Kimba...just look at the pics on the page.

I have the...opportunity...to work in a department which is comprised of seminary students. This does have its benefits and drawbacks. The drawbacks are more prevalent than the benefits. I've decided that I'm not going to watch any of the political conventions on TV this week or next. Instead I think I'm going to read a good book while they are going on. I'm just not impressed with either major party candidate. I found out the other night that a friend at my seminary, SWBTS, is going to be doing his Master of Arts in Theology thesis on the contemporary Christian music community's portrayal of the relationship between God and man and man and God as this last year's Top 40 artists have suggested.
