Friday, March 12, 2004 Queer Hermeneutics I've been preparing a paper for my Advanced Hermeneutics course here at my seminary critiquing homosexual hermeneutics. To do so I've had to read some articles and works on the subject. This is a truly a corrupt view of Scripture. Not only do they eisogete their presuppositions into the text, they fully distort the meaning of words and figures. I won't go into detail now, but it is fair to say that the hermeutical leaps taken by advocates of these positions are hug and trying.
