Nurse, I need 35ccs of Halo...stat!

In this article from Cnn.com a report has come out suggesting that surgeons who play video games for at least 3 hours a week have 37% fewer mistakes in laparoscopic surgery and are able to complete surgical tasks 27% faster than their less techno-geek inclined peers. Billy Gates must be proud, he can now attach the slogan: "We're saving lives, one controller at a time" to his XBox sales pitch. Imagine the games that can come out of this venue:

  1. Mr Potato-head gets an angioplasty
  2. Rescue Medics: the ER Ward
  3. Ghost Recon: Field Docs
  4. ER: Carter's Mayhem
  5. Deep Crater: Bob's Colonoscopy

The opportunities are endless...

I must add that this is marked vindication for all those who have questioned my recent purchase of an XBox, which I haven't played in 5 days thank you very much Hebrew translation guy! Not only am I increasing my ability to aid my future parishioners in my biblical dexterity, I can also provide a handy assist on that emergency tracheotomy after the Lord's Supper wafer gets stuck...
