Election quick hits
Alright this isn't going to be long and drawn out, and yes I am going to drop most of the political posts in favor of good ole theobloggy!
- The Tarrant County website to help those of us who have moved and misplaced our voting card that was mailed to us 2 years ago was down all day. How on earth can a website whose purpose to inform those where to vote be down on the single day for which it exists?
- The voting process at my polling place, which I found after visiting two others, was easy. How can someone mess up connecting a line?
- The Democratic Party should fire Terry Mcauliffe, under his leadership the party has lost seats consecutively and lost power in both houses of Congress.
- The religious naysayers on TBN, Daystar, Inspiration Network, etc. that are saying the United States is going to Hell probably need stop. The electorate spurned the homosexual rights movement and are recognizing moral convictions in their choices. It would be nice to see Perry Stone (and those of his ilk) back off the doomsday prophecy stuff and recognize the good things going on in the US
- I wish the media would just say it: MANDATE
- Let's get these courts filled
- I'm actually more happy that Tom Daschle got beat than anything else
- Our country is greatly divided between liberal and conservative folk, the media needs to recognize this and realize there is nothing unified in these two camps
- You can vote democrat and be a good Christian...
Just some quick hits...I'll be back with good ole theobloggy!
